To help children learn when their behaviour isn't acceptable, many parents use the 'naughty step' or 'time out' technique, sitting the child quietly for a few minutes to calm down. Time outs are a great way for the parents to stay calm too!

Simply set the built-in timer to the desired time-out duration (usually one minute per year of the child's age) and sit the child on the pressure sensitive pad.

If the child gets up before the end of the programmed time, an alarm sounds to alert the parent or carer, and the countdown will pause until the child sits back down.

Once the full time-out countdown has elapsed, the finish tune is played to let everyone know that the session has ended. The child should then apologise and be rewarded with a big hug!

All our clocks are made from 6mm MDF wood and are C.E. approved. Each clock is hand-cut and hand-finished to ensure a professional result. The clocks take two AA batteries ( one for the clock motor and one for the pendulum movement ). Each clock motor is guaranteed for 2 years. Pendulum clocks measure approximately 21cm x 28cm (8.2" x 11").
